I've put together the footage from the funeral scene and the other flashback scenes. Now all I have to do is fill in the gaps between them :)

Editing start

Today I started editing my footage in Premiere Pro.

Filming

Shooting restart.

So because of Megan's injury, I'm starting my filming process all over again. Megan lives in central London so a lot of my filming had taken place near her house for convenience. Now that I'm filling her role and my friend Bish is playing the other role, we can film closer to home.

Today we did some shooting in the Hamptons and Richmond park.The weather was against us again as it was really windy and quite cold, but at least it didnt rain.

Unlike the one on the cover, these polaroids aren't real. I edited some photographs to make them look like polaroids by fading them and adding frames.

SHOOTING PROBLEM

Megan has twisted her ankle which means she cannot run. A majority of my music video needs her to be running.
Unfortunately this means I'll have to scrap Megan as the main character in my video. At this point I think its too late to find something else to take over so I'll just do it myself.

For my music video I need flashback scenes. For one of them, I filmed me and Megan having a conversation. In other words, today I found out my resting face is sinister as heck.

Today we filmed some scenes in a cafe as well as a few more in Holland Park. Everything is going quite well :)

SHOOTING SO FAR

PROBLEMS.

-Battery power- The battery in the Canon Cameras doesnt last as long as one would like and unfortunately, I learned this the hard way. After trecking out to the middle of a forresty patch of a running path, I realised there was only 30% of the battery life left.

On top of this the weather has been against us in a big way. Every time we plan to shoot, there ends up being a massive stretch of rain which means we can only film inside, or go against the plan and film in the rain which ends up looking terrible on the camera.

GOOD THINGS.
This camera is incredible. The footage all looks really high quality which Im positive will make the final result a much more professional looking piece.

SHOOTING DAY ONE

Today we went to Holland Park and Chelsea to film some of the flashback scenes for my music video. It started CHUCKING IT DOWN WITH RAIN so we retreated back to Megan's house for a bit where I did some experiments with the zoom on the camera.
