Greenscreen exercise/ lip sync

In class we started to think about different effects we can use when editing a video. In previous examples of AS music videos we had watched, students had used green screens to change the location of the video.

We filmed a short clip against the green screen and changed the background. Unfortunately the footage is gone because Amy no longer goes to this college, but there will plenty of chances to use the green screen in the future.

We also looked into lip syncing and how to make a convincing lip sync video. We had all agreed that singing along to the track worked the best but when it came around to actually singing along infront of the rest of the group, it was a bit awkward. This in mind I think it's important that the people in our music videos later on are all comfortable around us otherwise the result will be slightly awkward.

We didn't want it to be completely us singing along so we added in other shots to make it more interesting like us walking, dancing about and laughing, generally just having fun.

Here is our lip sync exercise
